UFA - United Farmers Assoc - will possibly sell/donate a water cistern and may be at a good price if the project is weird enough or community related. If it is large enough and elevated a few feet will provide sufficient water pressure- eco friendly- no electricity, no pump! Also links to science curriculum for students. David B, artist is willing to help with including a regulator to measure amount of rain fall collected in cistern.

South Calgary Artist Network posted that Acadia Community Garden is looking for interest from Acadia Artists for possible projects for the garden.

ReplyDeleteThis lady's website has tons of cool ideas for re-purposing or upcycling found items - this section is just the garden part, and it has the fence made of old bed headboards. Corinne, I'll send you a photo of the items I grabbed and stored in my basement, as well as my own upcycled bench-from-bed project.
